More than 19 million vehicles have left Jakarta as of April 1st, marking a significant increase in the Eid exodus compared to the previous year. This surge reflects the easing of travel restrictions and the eagerness of people to celebrate Eid with their families in their hometowns.

National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo inspected the readiness of the "Homecoming Valet" program designed to ease traffic congestion during the Eid al-Fitr homecoming period. The program allows travelers to drop off their vehicles at designated locations and have them delivered to their hometowns by police officers.
